AS A SEASONED EDUCATOR, I have worked tirelessly with children and families for over 30 years. I began my educational journey in the informal learning environments of sitting with young children and working as an assistant at the Centers for Children. But my interest in education rapidly moved me to the formal settings of schools (private and public sectors) as well as Community Centers and My most valued first love, homeschooling. I home-schooled my youngest daughter when she reached middle school, and now I homeschool the next generation. In these arenas I have held the positions of Director, Manager, Parent Trainer, Mentor Coach, Professional Educational Development Trainer, and creator of the “Sweet pop Soaring Sisters” Mentoring group. I have also had the fantastic opportunity to manage multiple Child Care center sites simultaneously, leading a staff of more than 50 educators and support personnel as well as hundreds of students. I am honored to have been entrusted to decide and compose Policy Manuals as well as assist in the curriculum development for various traditional and HOMESCHOOL programs. In addition, I have traveled across the United States to be trained in the latest educational research and technology. My diverse experiences continue to expand and refine my views on NON-traditional Education methods and how it connects us around the world.
