Mary Prather has over 20 years experience in the education arena. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Southern Methodist Univeristy and a Masters in Education from Georgia State University. She homeschools her two children, ages 15 and 11. In 2009 she began the blog Homegrown Learners, a site that focuses on equipping moms to teach their children at home. Mary is a blog ambassador for LEGO® Education and Operation Christmas Child. She is also the author of SQUILT Music Appreciation curriculum for children.
