Mary Beth Morris has homeschooled in Georgia for over 24 years and has served on the GHEA Board of Directors since 2013. In her role with GHEA, Mary Beth serves as the Governmental Affairs Team Lead and the Communications Team Lead. She and her husband, John, have graduated five children from their homeschool, after homeschooling from the start. Their youngest are boy/girl twins who graduated in June and will be freshmen at Georgia Tech in August majoring in mechanical engineering and computer science. They already have two sons who are both seniors at Georgia Tech and studying mechanical engineering. Their eldest daughter is in her fourth year of a PhD program in Biomedical Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina. Mary Beth works as a dual enrollment advisor. She has taught high school math, science, and engineering classes to other homeschoolers and is a mentor for a high school robotics team. She and her husband share a heart for homeschooling freedoms and encouraging other homeschoolers.
