Live Oak CS explores the intersection of computer science and the natural world. We aim to give students the tools needed to explore the possibilities of STEM to reinvent our world into a cleaner, greener place to call home. We provide students and teachers with CS curriculum to build simulations of agriculture systems, ecological systems, and clean energy systems. We’re excited to meet forward thinking parents and students at the SE Homeschool conference!Live Oak Computer Science designs computer science curriculum and hands on computer science / ecological STEM project kits for the homeschool community. We teach students how to code, we teach students about digital literacy, and we weave ecological concepts throughout the curriculum by giving the students data from organic gardens and sustainable agricultural ecosystems in order to build real world CS projects.
