The Georgia Home Education Association (GHEA), is the statewide, member-supported, 501(c)3 non-profit association that has been serving the needs and protecting the rights of Georgia homeschoolers since 1992. GHEA is governed by a Board of Directors who serve voluntarily. GHEA is committed to the advancement of home education and to protecting every family’s right to home educate their children and considers it part of its mission to help families across Georgia involved in this educational choice. GHEA will serve and assist any homeschooling family or support group in Georgia, however, GHEA is a Christian organization and the counsel and direction of the organization will be Christian.
