Can I change my registration to my friend, sister, relative, etc.?
No, registrations cannot be substituted or transferred to other names.
Can I leave my child at an event or activity at the Expo exhibit hall or workshops?
Our general policy is that children must be accompanied by their parent(s) or guardian at the Expo. We offer the optional paid KidsZone program that allows parents to attend the workshops and exhibit hall while children attend fun activities throughout the day in the KidsZone room.
I accidentally registered multiple times. Can I change the other registrations to another individual?
No. Duplicate registrations are considered invalid. Registrations cannot be substituted or transferred to other names.
If I cannot make it to the Expo, can I let my friend(s), mother, sister, etc. use the badges?
No, we cannot substitute or transfer registrations to other names
Can I purchase a one day only pass or does the Expo registration cover only one day or two?
All regular Expo registrations are the same. They allow complete access to exhibit hall and workshops on Friday & Saturday of the Expo weekend. We do not offer separate day registrations.

I am new to Homeschooling, how can I learn?
Be sure to attend Homeschooling for Excellence 101 on Thursday. This full day seminar gives personalized help for those parents who are new to homeschooling or just considering homeschooling.
Is there a used book fair at the Southeast Homeschool Expo?
We do not have a used book sale. However, some vendors in the exhibit hall do sell used books.
Is there a fee for me to just come and shop?
Whether you plan on attending any of the many workshops available, or whether you just want to browse the Exhibit Hall, it is the same price. Your Expo registration covers Friday and Saturday, all day.
Are children allowed to attend?
Yes. We encourage families to attend together. And Children attend the Expo FREE. In the Exhibit Hall, lots of people play in the game area and climb the rock wall. Optional Conferences for children include KidsZone ages 4 -12 and Teen Leadership Conference ages 13-18 where we strive to invigorate children for all kinds of learning . These is an additional fee for these conferences.
Is there a fee for my child to attend?
No. All children under the age of 18 may attend the Expo (Friday and Saturday) FREE of charge with their parents. Two exceptions are KidsZone and the Teen Leadership Conference.
Are there any parking fees at the Cobb Galleria?
The Cobb Galleria parking decks charge between $5-8 per day per vehicle for parking due to increased demand. There are several surrounding parking lots in the Galleria area that may or may not charge for parking depending on the day/demand including several office parks, Cumberland mall, etc. If you are staying at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel your parking may be included in your stay so please inquire with the hotel upon check-in if any additional parking validation is needed for your vehicle.
I can’t attend every day of the Expo. Do I have to pay for all the days?
We keep the Expo at one, EXTREMELY low affordable rate for both days, regardless of how much you attend. We hope you are able to enjoy the many workshops available on each day and also have time to go through the Exhibit Hall at your leisure.
Do you offer any opportunities to volunteer in order to attend the convention at no charge?
Yes, we always welcome volunteers. Please visit our Volunteer Page to request your volunteer times.
Is there food available?
Yes. There are concessions in the Exhibit Hall, food in the Food Court and restaurants at the Galleria, along restaurants and fast food at the Cumberland Mall across the street. The mall is accessible by an enclosed walkway.
I have purchased a registration, but am now unable to attend. Can I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds – just as if you had purchased tickets to a concert or a ball game.
