Before founding STEM Fuse, Carter worked as a college admissions manager and liaison to regional high schools related to technology courses. During this time it became apparent that America needs to do a much better job attracting students to pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering & math) courses and careers. Using today’s practical and popular uses of technology like game design, mobile apps, healthcare technology, social media marketing, and others to develop a new way to teach STEM – STEM Fuse was born.
