A popular speaker on modern family life, he has been described as practical and refreshingly honest. He is the author of “The Talks,” “The Young Man’s Guide to Awesomeness: How to Guard Your Heart, Get the Girl, and Save the World,” and “Meet Me in the Middle,“ a book designed to connect teen girls and their dads. He is the creator of Smartphones 101, a digital course to equip families to use technology with wisdom. Barrett is married to Jenifer and they have five kids and seven grandchildren.
