Barbara Henry

Barbara Henry is the Executive Director of the NSHSS Foundation and the Director of Scholarships at NSHSS. Barb’s professional journey includes a 30+ year career at her Alma Mater Oglethorpe University where she received a BBA in Economics.  While on the staff at Oglethorpe, she played pivotal roles in admissions, alumni relations, volunteer management, and fundraising.   During her 15 years in the Admission Office, she championed accessibility for homeschoolers, guiding numerous students and parents through the college admission process.

Beyond her role at NSHSS, Barbara remains engaged in professional organizations such as the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC). Committed to giving back, she volunteers regularly with organizations such as Heartbound Ministries and Oglethorpe University, while also serving on the AFP-Atlanta Annual Conference Planning Committee and the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) National Leadership Honorary Annual Conference Planning Committee.
