Angela Backer has been homeschooling her three daughters for seven years ranging from preschool through high school graduation. For her, education is the family business. Growing up in a family of educators laid the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity about the world and the uncanny ability to fill every nook and cranny in her home with books. Angela has classroom experience in special education and accelerated education populations, as well as teaching music and directing theater. Her education background is in English Literature and Creative Writing. Angela joined Moving Beyond the Page in 2020 as a Curriculum Specialist and also manages the company’s social media properties. She loves sharing the joys of learning with others and helping families and organizations find the best curriculum for them.
