Andy Mater

Andy grew up in a Christian home in Michigan, and was saved at the age of five. At the Word of Life Bible Institute Missions Conference in 1999 he felt God calling him into ministry. In 2003, he was accepted as a missionary with Word of Life and spent a brief period serving as the Assistant to the Dean of Men on our New York campus. Together with his wife, Tabitha, and two children, Novalie and Eden, they served with Word of Life Hungary as the Academic Dean from 2009-2012. In 2012 they felt God calling them to Florida where he served as the Dean of Men on our Florida campus. Currently, he is the Associate Executive Dean for that same campus. He has a diploma from the Word of Life Bible Institute, a B.S. in Bible-Christian Ministries from Tennessee Temple University, and a M.A.B.S. from Piedmont International University.
